Garden for rented property - Society of Garden Designers & Landscapers Competition Entry

The clients were a couple in their mid 20s and this house was their first rental. They wanted to improve the garden but didnt have a huge budget between them.

The design intention was to replace the lawn with wildflowers, use a no dig method to create the borders and create raised beds for the vegetables utilising the sunnier areas of the garden for the latter.

The planting would encourage pollinators and other wildlife and the clients had requested a small wildlife pond. The hard landscaped areas remained untouched to reduce costs.
